In line with our parish presentations on Our Lady of Fatima's message of hope and peace, some parishes within our Columbus diocese are moving forward to try to promote this message further. Here are some ways they are doing this:
Setting up Groups to Consecrate Themselves to the Immaculate Heart
Many parishes have set up groups to complete the Consecration to Our Lady's Immaculate Heart together. This can be done in the format of your choice, however, there are some parishes who have done this with great success. If you would like to speak with someone who has organized a Consecration group at a local parish, please contact us at [email protected] and we will connect you with someone who can aid you and answer questions you may have.
Additionally, there is a program called "All Hearts Afire" organized by the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception that can assist you in setting up a parish group consecration. Info can be found here: www.allheartsafire.org
And, finally, you can receive a FREE copy of St. Louis de Montfort's consecration book or Father Michael Gaitley's booklet form of "33 Days to Morning Glory" at this site: www.myconsecration.org
Establishing a Traveling Our Lady of Fatima Statue within a Parish
A number of local parishes have decided to purchase a statue of Our Lady of Fatima which travels to the homes of parishioners who express the desire. This has been so popular at one parish, that they have reportedly purchased a second statue to meet the demand! Who isn't in need of hope and peace in their home -- because that is exactly what Our Lady will bring into your home : ) If you are interested in establishing a traveling statue program in your parish, contact us and we can connect you with someone from locally to discuss how to go about setting this up. [email protected]
Starting First Saturday Masses within a Parish
Some parishes within our diocese have recently added a First Saturday mass on the first Saturday morning each month, to assist more people in meeting Our Lady's request for the First Saturday devotion. If you are interested in talking with individuals who have helped in organizing this within their parish, please contact us at [email protected] and we will be happy to connect you!
